Dual Output Trip Alarm

• The new Dual Output Trip Alarm (DOTA) has the same foot print and similar connections as the old type (with some small changes!).
• Uses the latest in microprocessor technology which makes it flexible and powerful.
• We have added some additional input options using the two spare terminals at the top of the unit.
• Added is 24 VDC loop supply for loop powered input transmitters.
• Now uses high quality trimpots that cannot get damaged by screwdrivers. Finger adjustable.
• We now have the ability to lock the trimpots using DIP switches.
• There are front panel accessible DIP switches for basic user configuration changes.
• Side accessible DIP switches for various other setup options.
• Mains and DC powered options, 24 VDC (and some others) as well as 90 to 250 VAC (universal AC input).
• Relays are now specified for mains operation – 10 A at 250 VAC.
• The DOTA uses four PCBs to make assembly easy and the product more robust.
• We have the ability to be PC configurable in future models.
• In the configuration mode one can capture exact injected input values as setpoints and hysteresis and lock out the trimpots.

Configurable Inputs:

• ±100 mV, ±10 V, ±100 V, 0-20 mA, 4-20 mA, pT100, resistance up to 10 kΩ, pulses, frequency - 0.01 to 100 kHz.
• AC voltage, DC voltage up to 250 VAC or VDC, mains frequency, AC current, DC current up to 10 A AC or DC, RMS conversion (up to 300 Hz).

More Technical Features:

• Alarm delay – selectable delay after alarm level is reached before the relay is activated.
• Hysteresis front panel adjustable for each output.
• Operating modes configurable for each relay output - setpoint switching high, setpoint switching low, window switching and level switching.
• LED sense can be changed (i.e. ON with relay ON or On with relay Off).
• Input signal filtering – selectable in 0 to 16 second input step response.
• Relay power-up state setting – provides for a defined power-up relay state.
• Power-up delay setting – sets the time from power-up before alarm actions are activated (0 to 600 seconds).
